Who's the most FAMOUS person you've ever met?

iamme

Lifer
I don't mean going to Hollywood and getting a brief glance at some actor, but met face to face. At least exchanged one or two sentences.
Sports stars autographs don't count, unless you had a one on one conversation with him/her.

The most famous person I've met was Mr. T 😀 I got his autograph and picture taken with him. Pretty lame, eh?

Ive seen quite a few celebs but have only talked to one.... Tom Chambers. I've seen him quite a few times at Suns games and at the BOB (Bank One Ballpark).

I took a leak next to him at the BOB, more then you needed to know but he is one tall ass mofo.

I met Jackie Chan ...at a book signing ...... I was one of the first in line..
We shook hands and he asked where I was from........does that count ?

Most of the famous people I've met were at the Starbucks I was working at. Arnold Schwartzeneggar (sp?), Maria Shriver, and the kids came in on Thanksgiving day once. Ordered a bunch of drinks and pastries, got his autograph, and gave him the drinks for free.

Ted Koppel came in a couple of times, and Linda Carter (Wonder Woman) came in almost every day in the summer to get her mocha Frappucino. Colin Powell used to go to the McLean, VA store all the time, dunno if he still does.

Gordie Howe.... I was working a catering event for the "Detroit 300th Birthday" or something and I was lifting all these tables and he walks by and goes "doin all that by yourself huh? Those crazy buggers" me: "yeah, those a-holes" lol

fun

I'd probably have to say playing ping pong with Paul Newman would have to top my personal experiences with Celebs. Either that or bs'ing with Tim Allen. I've met other famous people, but never really had the chance to sit and gab with any of them.

I met Bill Buckner. He was the Red Sox baseball player who let the ball roll through his legs in the 1986 World Series against the Mets costing his team the title. I did some computer work for him at his house and got to meet his wife and kids and talked to him a couple of times.

I met George W. several times. Also Rick Perry, Kay Bailey Hutchinson, and Phil Gramm. Haven't met any famous Hollywood type though.

I met Chevy Chase and James Worthy. I was at both their houses. Well, not in the houses, just at their front doors. (they live in the same neighborhood.) James Worthy offered to let my basketball team practice on his private court, but our coach said no. Chevy Chase didn't want us around, so he told us to leave, but I still was at his front door!!!

I spent 3 yrs working at one of the nations oldest psychiatric hospitals... lots of famous folks came thru for detox treatment and services, can't tell you who but will say the vast majority of em were very nice people.

my house at tahoe is few houses away from Tommy H's (the designer) house. er one of his MANY houses... i've never seen him...

ive seen a few people, but i guess the most famous person ive talked to is travis barker of blink fame. he's a nice guy, great drummer in a crappy band.

not as famous, but on occasion i talk to adam and (mostly) darren from Home Grown, i played diablo 2 with both of htem for a while until they started to record their new album... which they're done with now.. it's just being mastered 🙂

Al Gore - worked in his motorcade when he visited SF in '96

Michael Douglas
Sean Penn - was in "The Game" with them in the final scene where Douglas falls through the skylight (I played a medic, go figure)

Pres Ford - shook hands with him when I was around six or so, pretty young but I think it still counts

Most of the SF giants - worked as a medic at candlestick (3COM) in the late '90's (Bonds is an a$$hole to his wife/gf)

Joe Montana - that dude is tall, and so is his wife...

i met james gosling (Java), robert taylor (now deceased movie star from the 30's & 40's), vida blue & a few other retired baseball players.

I met Jerry Rice at a Warrior game and asked for his autograph.
On vacation in Cancun Natalie Cole gave me some workout tips when I was messing around in the gym! :Q
