Who's the artist...

that pretty much speed paints on a big easel with splattered paint, super fast/erratic brush strokes and then out of nowhere, there's an amazing portrait of someone like Jimi Hendrix? Seems like he would do it works with accompanying music as well. I remember seeing him many years ago on Letterman or Leno but I can't dig him up on youtube or anywhere online.

Any ideas? I just remember the one he did of Hendrix which looked like one big mess until he was done and then it was a dead-on accurate portrait of him. A coworker wanted to see him do a piece but I can't remember enough about him to find it online.

You da man! Denny Dent...that's him. Haven't seen or heard anything about him in years but seeing him do a piece live on TV just stuck with me all these years.
