Who's taping today's boxing match on HBO?

Hello all,

I was wondering if anyone is taping today's Pacquiao vs. Marquez boxing match on HBO. If so, I was wondering if I can get a copy of the video afterwards. I want to give it to my dad. He's a big boxing fan.

Thanks!

😀

I'm probably going to end up taking him to a sports bar. 🙂 Another ATer helped me with the Barrera vs. Pacquiao fight. Believe it or not, he still watches it today.

Yeah...Marquez's white shorts are almost red from the blood!

But, Pacquiao has been losing the last few rounds. It's probably tied after the 7th.

this pisses me off SOOOO much

pacquiao should've won this fight, marquez came back but not enough to make this fight a draw
i can't believe how one of the judges scores 110-115 to marquez

i hate this sh!t.
Pacquiao should've won, freaking bullsh!t i swear

i mean how can you score 115-110 to marquez, marquez was knocked down three times in the first round and the rest of the rounds were pretty even

I'm so mad that i want to literally murder that retarded judge :|

the only reason i wanted pacquiao win, is because he is the pride of the philipines, an asian boxer against a mexican boxer
I'm asian so i got emotionally involved in this fight, I wanted to see the asian kick the mexican's ass since it's rare to see asian boxers fighting in madalay bay
my heart was beating so hard the whole entire fight. lol, exciting fight though

pacquiao is world rank 1 and marquez is world rank 2 in their weight class

And how did one of the judges score 115-110 in favor of Marquez??!

Maybe he thought one of the knockdowns wasn't a real knockdown?

He doesn't have the option of deciding which knockdowns are real. If the ref says it's real it must be scored as real, if the ref rules it a slip it must be scored as a slip.

Really weird fight and undoubtedly tough to score, but those scores were off the wall. One judge seemed to have it close at 115-110 for Pacquiao. I could even accept the 113-113 score if that clown had gotten the first round right at 10-6 rather than the 10-7 he had on his card. The one that sticks out is the complete moron who scored it 115-110 for Marquez. Given that the first round was a mandatory 10-6 that means he gave 10 of the last 11 rounds to Marquez. There's no freaking way that was even close to accurate. The last 11 rounds were fairly even and I could see a judge scoring them 6-5 or 7-4 either way, but not 10-1. Likes so many decisions in boxing now, that decision was bought and paid for. They wanted a rematch.

BTW, how hard would it be to have sudden death in boxing? Title fights used to go to 15 rounds before being shortened to 12. In the event of a tie, both guys are there, both are warmed up, the crowd wants a decision. Fight one more round and determine a winner.
