StageLeft
No Lifer
One which is almost impossible to embrace long term. Fact of the matter is that the vast, vast, vast, vast, vast, (I can say it more times even) majority of people who've lost a lot of weight and kept it off for a long period of time use two key ingredients: eat less/move more. Except in an almost negligible number of cases, this is how people lose weight. Fatkins is another race for the magic bullet to most people, and they will fail at losing weight and keeping it off as they always have, because until they realize that they need to look to themselves to reach their goals and not rely upon some other plan of foolhardy approach, they'll continue to yo-yo around, seemingly oblivious to the the one unifying weight loss approach that works for everyone, and the only thing it really needs is consistent dedication and will power. People can flip flop around from fatkins to south beach to god knows what. Meanwhile I'll continue to run and lift weights and say no to that second portion and look better than them, while being healthier, the whole time.Originally posted by: skace

Which is why Atkins is a lifestyle change.
