Ron will of course be collecting your donations again.
How much did he make off the suckers last time?

I want to assume you're kidding, but it's rather difficult. Do you really think Paul would be allowed to just pocket the unspent cash? And if he could, do you really think he would? I mean, this is a guy who doesn't even participate in the Congressional pension plan, he doesn't even spend all of his congressional office budget.

He returns a portion of his annual congressional office budget to the U.S. treasury every year.

This guy really is a few sandwiches short of a picnic.

So he's nuts for not wasting money?

hexploit is the OP. He's saying theredunderurbed is undernourished.

Thanks. I really shouldn't do sarcasm here it's just too busy.

Forget it, his policies are disastrous.

We wouldn't want to ruin our great economic model by electing him Prez.

Back during the great depression, countries that got off the gold standard first saw their GDPs rise immediately and they got out of their economic malaise quickest while those that stayed on the gold standard saw their depression last longer.

Ron Paul actually wants us to go back to the gold standard.

It doesn't end until December 2012 though! Still plenty of time for the Ron Paul rEVOLution. Unfortunately not so much time for the Ron Paul pRESIdency.
I really, really, really think the US should elect a bonafide chimpanze to office then, just as a joke. He wouldn't take office until January 2013 anyway, at which point it's moot. Or a chronic masturbating bear or a midget or maybe a chronic masturbating midget.

What will Ron Paul do to help the U.S. economy and the American people?

Encourage more immigration by ending all immigration restrictions?
Encourage more foreign outsourcing by eliminating all tariffs and trade protectionism?
Displace more Americans from their jobs by ending the caps on H-1B and L-1 visas?

Advocate for free market health care which will result in even more millions of Americans being uninsured or under-insured with perhaps tens of thousands dying for lack of health care?

End environmental regulations so that that businesses can more easily pollute and inflict externalities on other people?

End labor and employment regulations?

Just what will Ron Paul do to improve the U.S. economy, to improve Americans' quality of life, and to make the U.S. a better place for Americans. I would agree that legalizing drugs wouldn't be a bad policy, but we need solid economic policies that promote the rational selfish interests of the American people too.

Gee, I wonder why? I'm in debt but I have to wait and earn money to pay that debt off or..... I could just claim that I now have the funds and pay the debt off with my newly invented funds.

I'm hoping he gets his deserved credit... but I'm further hoping that he accomplishes what he set out to accomplish - to get America back under the Constitution. I want to see this movement continue to gain momentum.

There is not a better man alive right now.

According to Wikipedia, $30 million dollars.

That's 10 cents per American.

Some sucker must have paid my share - I didn't!

Actually he said the largest amount of donations he received came form military officers.

Rep. Flake?

We need someone with Ron Paul's character who can frame and deliver similar ideas, but in a more reasonable, sane, and realistic package. Some of Paul's own ideas are simply too radical and dangerous (ie. gold standards, dismantling the Fed, and closing every military base on foreign soil).

Anyone know where we can find a politician who is both honest and reasonable? I can't name a single one.

I too dream of a fiscally conservative and socially liberal person of honor who wants to restore the Constitution; but, Ron Paul ain't the answer to those dreams. He's closer than most, but he ain't the one. :(

God bless him for trying, though.

I like RP. If he has a chance I might vote for him. I would have voted for him this time, but he had no chance.. and I was not going to waste my time voting for someone who had no chance. I am not crazy about all his ideas, but I don't think I would ever agre with any politician all the time. And alot of his "crazier" ideas would be blocked anyway, so that is no worry really.

Compared to the options we have now though, it's not even a contest.

Yeah, RP wins the consolation price for the most unreasonable, unrealistic, and stupid package of ideas on the face of the planet.

If you want to be a pig farmer and nail maker, RP is your man.
