Yeah, $420 looks like a shit deal. From a simple google shopping link I found one for $430 shipped.

The only difference is this comes with a stupid bag and a 16gb SD card.... Really? Include some other lenses and I might bite. I really want a nice DSLR.

So you're complaining that certain items you want aren't on sale today?

#Firstworldproblemsbro

First I'm not that pissed at Amazon. The point is trust, if you are going to say its one of your biggest sales ever well it should be one of your biggest sales ever assuming Amazon doesn't want to get lumped in with furniture stores and car dealerships.

I admit, I really was hoping for some good deals. I have $400 in amazon gift cards from work I've been looking to spend :p Was holding off for this 'sale' (trademark under questioning).

Incredibly underwhelmed. Admittedly somewhat disappointed. For such an advertised sale, it really seemed like Amazon just wanted to liquidate some old less popular stock.

The only real deals seem to be for Kindles, that seem to go on sale often.

Not great deals but there were a few out today. Picked up FFX HD for PS4 because I've been wanting a non ps2 version (looks like shit on my 65 inch plasma). Now bloodborne is up for $29 and trying to figure out if I buy it now or make it through my backlog of games first then buy whatever list is in 2 months.

Wait for Steam holiday sales if you have a backlog.

Steam is always good but how does that help me with a ps4 game?

Good question. My brain inserts "Steam" whenever talking about video game sales. It should be down to that price at BB and elsewhere around the holidays.

That's what I'm thinking It was only at $30 from $40 on Amazon. not thinking it's worth it at that price difference. I'm literally playing through some remasters now of Metro Redux (missed series before) FFX is on it's way and I have some PS3 remasteres I haven't touched yet.

The price on the FFX remaster is so jacked for PS4. I paid $14 for the PS3 version back in the Spring, brand new, from Amazon. The difference between the PS3 and PS4 version is not that big. Yes, the PS4 version looks better, but it costs more than twice as much, and that's frankly ridiculous. And to make matters worse, the RNG on the PS4 version is broken. It's almost insulting the price they're charging for it.

The thing is I I prefer not to use my launch ps3. I know it's going to die soon and so I only buy certain old games for it like I have the Ico and Shadows remake to play through still along with Dues Ex.

I love the FF series and so I'll probably replay the 10 multiple times over the next year alone. The ps4 was the rigth choice for me even though I had to pay $34 for it.

Hmm...lately I've been trying to go with the PS4 remaster version of any game whenever possible, mostly due to the performance increases. The loading times on PS3 are pretty unbearable, for me at least. Have to assess whether its worth that additional premium though.

Amazon's Facebook page is on fire... https://www.facebook.com/Amazon

The sale worked, in so much that they killed their Black Friday numbers from 2014. That being said, a lot of people are likely not going to give much thought to the next sale Amazon tries to hype up.

What I find annoying is their wait list. You'll click to join the wait list, it'll say that you're on it, and then it will ask if you want to join it. You click to join, and then it tells you that you're back in. I'm fairly certain that I didn't miss a prompt to get the item, so the site is just being lame. :\
