I think that used to be the case, but for whatever reason the Mexicans around here (I live in DFW) are starting to really get into the NFL and NBA. It gets covered by local spanish stations, and I have stopped doing double-takes when I see spanish slogan Cowboys or Mavericks bumper stickers. No idea about Canada, but I imagine they're still crazy about Hockey, and to be honest, Hockey is fucking awesome if you're actually at the arena, on TV it doesn't translate so well.

Just got back from a 4mile hike - beautiful in the bay area today with 75 degress and sunny - but
I am home now and finishing up our smoked ribs, smoked chicken, hot wings, & cole slaw and the game is on!
Dont really care who wins or loses but the commericals will be great right???
