Because you had a bad year
You're taking one down
You sing a sad song just to turn it around
You say you don't know
You tell me don't lie
You work at a smile and you go for a ride
You had a bad year
The camera don't lie
You're coming back down and you really don't mind
You had a bad year
You had a bad year

2010 has sucked. There have been a lot of unexpected expenses (why do things always break down when it's least convenient?), and I've worked so much overtime that I have to take December off as compensation (yes, that means no overtime pay). Dealing with my asshole of a father, and the absolutely downright stupid things he does. And there's that one coworker that I always have to watch because the coworker is always looking for ways to make me look bad or get me in trouble.

Yeah, 2011 needs to be better. It needs to be a lot better.

I always find that funny how that works. I had a bunch of unexpected expenses all at bad times. Especially this year when I had to move out right when school started... tuition, books, parking and then I had to front money on a deposit.

I lived out of my car for 4 months this year. Showered and brushed my teeth at the gym. Rented a room with my cousin and then had him screw me over a few months after. Two hit an runs on my car.

Here's to wishful thinking in 2011.

Social life has skyrocketed.

Academic career is further in the shitter than ever.

Guess they average out to neutral. :p

The start of 2010 was really stressful. By March, things were much better. By summer, things were great. Compared to 2009, 2010 has been an awesome year.

I've never said it before, but have to say it this time. This year SUCKS. Last year was way better. Maybe my secret santa will surprise me and let it end with a bang.

I certainly am.

Havent lost any weight.
Still cant get a job.
School is kicking my ass harder than ever.
Women stopped asking me why I dont have a girlfriend. I guess at this point its obvious.
More illegals flooding into my town weekly.
Local gun range has been doing 1 weeks worth of renovations for 3 weeks now.
Now that the political harassing has died down, am getting more harassing phone calls from Verizon and Sprint and Comcast and DirectTV than ever before.
Chick I knew from a bar last year has starting working at a new local place. She didnt even remember me when I said hello.
Cant afford to buy mom anything nice this year. She doesnt really need a new phone, but she sure as hell needs a new computer. She also needs a new kitchen faucet and a filter under the sink. She wants granite countertops but theres no way in fuck I could ever afford that.
My car needs constant maintenance and I cant deal with it right now. Not to mention its a gas hog.
But thats OK cuz I hate driving around here anyway. The more work they do the more the roads are fucked up.
PC gaming is dead to me cuz everything that comes out sucks ass and is over priced anyway.
Cant seem to get in to any of my books, not even while at the gym using the treadmill or bikes or elliptical.
So basically I dont have anything practical or fun to look forward to at all. No fitness, no life, no money, no girls.

But theres nothing to suggest 2011 will be any better. Dunno why you'd get excited.

I already know what 2011 has in store for me, so I know already that it will be a better year.

my year's been pretty OK.

the big thing was my move -- I'm saving $500/month in rent/utilities over my old apartment and, having moved from the sticks to an urban area, I've been having a ton more sex.

A fairly good yr here, everybody's reasonably healthy,I'm still employed, working long hours on my blog but beginning to get clients. I can't really ask for more.
