Who's happily married?

With all the divorce and tragedy threads this month, I?d like to know how many ATOTers are happily married. It doesn?t matter if it?s your first, second or fifth marriage.

I?m on #2, and things couldn?t be better. Been married for 4 years, and we haven?t had the slightest bit of trouble.

Wait for the "7 year itch".

Happily married here..... If you find the right person it's great, but I can just imagine how ugly things can get if it goes wrong. You are prepared to defend yourself from the outside world. You build physical (house/gate etc) and emotional barriers that keep you 'safe'..... But if all of a sudden the 'opponent' has been the safe area (and thus knows everything), things can quickly get nasty.

First one - 30+ years - we still make the kids sick at times - "eeew"
4 kids + (2 pups)
7+ 4 grandkids w/ one more coming in June

Happy after 5 or 6 years (i don't remember which, don't tell my wife!).

2 kids, 2 on the way, 2 golden retrievers and 2 goldfish.

Very happily married, 10 years this august.

Man, Platinum, you are married, have 3 kids and you have time to play starcraft ? Good balance.

my wife doesn't work. that means we both have more time for ourselves.

i know that in todays society, 2 incomes is almost mandatory. we've been fortunate in that respect, i've been able to support the family, obviously we don't have as big a house as we would have had had she worked or as nice a cars, but this is a choice we made.

🙂
