I have a Pentium I in my Windows 95. The computer doesn't work anymore though.
The computer has 16mb of ECC RAM 😛

I also have a K6-III (non-plus-type)...which I think are rarer than the + type which were later released for laptops. The thing was still being used until about 18 months ago...overclocked from 450 to 550!

Some very rare CPU's being mentioned here. But i wonder who has one of the 10 Tejas samples

I would put them in the same league as 423 willamette P4's, its running at 2.8, consumes 50% more power, probably wont run with crap, pretty useless overall. But theres only 10!

I could get my hands on some alphastations (free) if I wanted to. I had a quad-proc (2nd or 3rd gen... I forgot) w/2gb of RAM that I gave away.

AMD Athlon XP 2600+ @ 2.133Ghz 266FSB 256K w/ 16x multiplier

AMD didn't make many of these after they started using a 333FSB for 2500+ and above. Almost as rare as a T-Bred B 2800+ @ 2.25Ghz 256K. The Barton 2800+ @ 2.08Ghz replaced this CPU about a month after it was introduced. The Athlon XP 2900+ 512K Barton @ 2.00Ghz 400FSB has to be the rarest XP CPU. I think these were only found in OEM.

Anyone still have a 3400+ 939?

I have a 486-33. You can have it for a hunnud bucks. Meet me behind da train stayshun.

1 Pentium 60 with FDIV bug (encased in plastic as keychain), 1 P60 with no fdiv bug, 1 8088-2 , 6 Pentium Pro 400 and 1 Athlon 700 (main working system, until I stabilize the new Opteron gig),

hmm rare? i doubt any of mine are

i got a 733mhz intel p3 there (no idea the core)... 1400mhz thunderbird AXP

I have one of those critters..only it's a 266fsb model...very very rare, although on most mobo's I can change it to the 333fsb model pretty easily, but it's default setting are 2250mhz 17x133 1.65v

I have a few fairly old cpu's.

Original Pentium 60mhz Socket 5?? I think

386 SX 20mhz

AMD DX4/100 or 133mhz?? I do know it put a hurtin on some of the Pentium cpus.

Pentium 120mhz lappy chip

Pentium 166 Non-MMX and MMX versions up to 233mhz

About 30x P2 Chips from 233mhz up to 450mhz

A original Celeron 300 Non-A and 300a

I don't remember anymore at the moment.

Jason

I've got an Athlon 64 3300+ Socket 754 coming in the mail... and I have an old 75MHz AMD chip, is that pretty rare? I never heard of them before the K6 days...

Where are you guys getting these engineering samples?

I have a few old CPUs that are in boxes that are still working, at least the last time I checked. 😛 I have a K6-2 380 (w/the 95mhz bus), a K5 166 (?) and an old 286. Other than the K6-2 system, I haven't booted the other two boxes in a few years.

You win? I havent even ever seen one of these.

Really? Intel was giving tons of them out 🙂

As for old ones, I guess I have the 32mhz Motorola 68030 in my ancient Mac that I still keep operational.

Yeah my current A64 3000+ 939 Winnie can't go past 2304.

PPro 400? You got me there! I thought they only went up to 200MHz. I suppose the P2 is essentially a PPro core, so a P2-400 would be sort of a PPro 400 😉

i've had a few 😎

AMD-K62+ 550mhz
i currently have a dual katmai 600mhz PIII server upstairs
Tbird 1.33/266 (first of the 266fsb tbirds)
Northwood C1 "b" 2.4...went to 3.5

An old Petium (MMX?) (66mhz?)
K6-2 333mhz
P4 2.66ghz Northwood

Ok so none of those are really that rare, but thats all I got!! 😛

However, I did manage to get probably the worst Opteron stepping for OCing. Considering everyone seems to get a good stepping, that seems pretty rare 🙂

Hmm...Not sure what is rare. Well if old counts as rare then I got a a few haha

Some Intel Pentium chip A80501-60 SX835
AMD-K6-2/350AFR
AMD Am486 DX4-100
Intel Celeron FV80524RX533128

Got a Cyrix 6x86MX-PR200 here.

Runs on a 66mhz bus and 2.5x multiplyer. It also uses a toasty 2.9v and has in bold letters across the die FAN/HEATSINK REQUIRED. 🙂

Also there is an excellent condition TRS-80 sitting in front of me, though its not mine.

Edit:

Also found a K6-2 350. Has a made for windows 95 stamp on it, which i always found amusing.

Check ebay, theres some on there. A lot of these CPU's can be found there, but many are quite expensive, considering the age/performance of them. The K6 2+ and K63 + 550 mhz chips are always usually expensive.
