I plan on going to see it. It's getting good reviews and I love the Rocky movies except for the last one.

$10 says he's in better shape at 60 than you are now.

Man I can't remember if I saw all the old ones.

Oh well I might check this out if it gets a good review/rating.

Tried to go see it tonight... the 7PM show sold out way ahead of time!

Apparently we underestimated the staggering drawing power of Sylvester Stallone.

I haven't seen this movie, but if 'tradition' holds up, the outcome will be the same as the first fight.

Don't know if you recall, but he lost the first fight.

Then of course, the training montage, more people started cheering and that was a great scene.

I won't spoil the fight, but it was as great fight with a lot of emotion, and I liked the camera work (it looks like a real boxing match on tv, not a hollywood fight). THere was one point in the fight where everyone in the theatre just started clapping and cheering (and if you saw it you know damn well what part it was).

If you liked the other Rocky movies, you have to see this. It will bring back a lot of memories and emotion from the older movies. I have to say this is the first movie I've ever actually clapped in during the movie, and I had to actually catch myself and stop lol.

You explained the exact reason that theaters suck weiner.

BTW, Comcast OnDemand has all 5 Rockys in HD.

True, but he went the distance when he was expected to get knocked out.

I LOVED the first movie...the others...not so much. This movie seems to be in the vain of the original...so I definitely want to see it.

$10 also says that he has done a lot more roids than NuAlphaMan ever will use.

That's not a fair comparision - he is paid to be in better shape.

I saw the movie last night and I've only seen bits and pieces of the other Rockys. Not even sure who wins the other Rockys, but I'm assuming its always him.

But anyhow, this movie was extremely good. Very emotional and I can't imagine how powerful it would be if you grew up with the series from the start.

The ending was kind of meh. I mean don't get me wrong, it was pretty good, but I just had a much better one in my mind that would still convey the same message.

It's worth seeing.

Margo Kidder was the one who went b-a-n-a-n-a-s. Talia Shire just got really old really fast.
