Well that concert was ridiculous. Coliseum was a great fucking venue for that show - that wall was HUGE. I swear it was like a 12.1 sound system up in that bitch.

I can't imagine how they do that show in a smaller venue.

For instance, in the arena version, the metaphorical wall that is gradually built through the course of the evening typically spans about 200 feet when he's booked into venues like Staples Center, where he brought the show in 2010. At the Coliseum, it will stretch out to around 500 feet.

Well RW just wrapped up the 2012 Wall tour. Might go for another round in 2013.

Look at this REOCKULOUS stage for the finale

Would have gone to the Quebec City show as I'm here currently but it was too expensive. The wall was the longest ever, more than 730 feet long and they had four times the amount of pyro. My brother was in a hotel nearby on a romantic holiday and listened from his balcony.

No cheap tix available?

I got my LA tix for < $45 each.

BTW, the 1977 Pink Floyd show at the Olympic Stadium in Montreal was ten dollars. During that show, Waters got into a repeated argument with a drunken fan who kept yelling and throwing firecrackers at his feet. Finally, in exasperation, Waters spat a mouthful of beer on the fan who just laughed it off. That particular show prompted Waters to write The Wall. Someone on local TV showed the ticket and a bootleg CD of the show's audio.

I only heard about the show two weeks ago. Quote I got was 99.95. This was an outdoor show in a natural bowl on the Plaines d'Abraham natural plateau, kinda like the Hollywood Bowl I guess. Attendance was 75000. They did not record the full show for DVD release. Unfortunate as Waters said afterwards this representation was the best of the 192. Fitting as this was the tour finale.
