there isn't a shortage this year, ample supply. they've learned their lesson about that i believe, and last year there was a surplus.

Not a chance in hell. The only thing they seem to do is get me sick. Years without flu shot = no flu, or only one flu. Years with flu shot = immediate flu, followed by 3-4 bouts of flu.

I have refused all inoculations since typhoid in the navy. That was the worst.

I'm absolutely terrified of needles.
When I got my tetanus shot I was shaking so bad the doctor had his office assistant hold my arm still

Right now I'm leaning towards possibly flu and no needle

I've had the Flu one time in my life, when I was 10. I rarely get sick. My immune system is pretty good.

Yes. My work is providing them for free. Given that I take public transportation to and from work, I figure it's probably a good idea. Having the windows closed during the winter with everybody coughing and sneezing on the bus really rubs me the wrong way.

Ironically, several coworkers got the free shot, then promptly got the flu b/c of it
