whos excited about SG1 this friday?

i know i am. since BSG is gone until 2008 :| i need my space shows on friday night. with the last season of SG1 in curious on where they take the whole Ori thing and who they kill off.
 
SG1 was pretty good last week. I will be sad to see it go. However it just hasn't been the same since RDA left. It was good to see him in SGA last week.

 
Oh, man....I didn't know they hadn't aired the finale yet...I guess the whole "Released in the UK months ago" thing got to me. 😱...

anyway, it's a bit of a let-down, IMO.
 
If I were to watch all of the remaining episodes, should I watch the Atlantis episodes concurrently? No spoilers please, just a simple yes/no will do.
 
The second to last episode is really cool. They could have done a lot with it but they didn't because of time. 🙁 They really needed one more season. The last episode was ok but not great.
 
I can't get SciFi where I am. Comcast has it as part of a separate package :|. If someone has a good alternative method for me to obtain Stargate, please PM me.....

I don't think it matters much. The season finale of Atlantis is freaking awesome. I can't wait until it comes back with NEW episodes.
 
I thought SG:1 had turned in to an unintentional comedy. I couldn't help but laugh through most of the show, it was that ridiculous. SG:A is better, but compared to even a bad episode of BSG, SG gets owned.

However, I will agree, Orisi = HAWTNESS - Was watching Firefly last week and thought, "man, we need to see more of her". Wish granted!
 
I will just say. I saw the Last episode.

I thought it was a HORRIBLE way to end the series.

I mean, it just gives you a feeling that everything was just rushed and tacked together to tie up the 30 million loose lines into one episode.

netflix has every episode up to season 9 (we're in season 10)

start watching 😀

oh and I believe there is supposed to be a couple straight to tv movies to tie everything up right?

It didn't tie what it needed to. It tied about 2, then leaves everything for the movie.

They could have shown cool battle scenes with everything exploding and nukes flying, thats a season finale is supposed to be.

I've already seen halfway through season 10 (via going home). I started school just after the the mid-season finale.

action, scifi, funny. It's great. Most episodes are very accessible to anyone not familiar with the series, but I'd try to get in towards the beginning of a story arch.
 
no I've seen the show 🙂

It just got boring towards the end. I lost interest. I was really into the show when Anubis was attacking Earth at the North Pole.
Then after that amazing season it just got kind of boring. It turned into comedy.

I was wondering if the last season is more like the action packed season that had Anubis and those drones walking around.

Basically I am expecting Earth to fight the Ori in space and kick ass.
