I might be but I don't wanna... Most of my coworkers are taking the week off.

Typically a 45 min commute @ 80 mph most of the way.

I might be. Have to sign loan application papers in the next town over.

Wife, son, and I are headed down to DC on tuesday to see the family. Hopefully the roadways are clear by then. But from my experience as a DC native, I am not holding out much hope.

Ehh, we have only like 3 or 4 inches total accumulation on the ground here. And all the roads were plowed and salted.

I did drive in a bit of snow on the 24th and 25th, but it was mostly just impeding visibility since the plows had no problems keeping up.

What is this "Snow" of which you speak? 😛

Happily, NO, I do not have to drive in snow. The way these Californians drive on dry roads...if it snowed here, I wouldn't leave the house. (fuck...they can't drive on rain-slicked roads, snow would be a comedy of errors in epic proportions!)

I'll bet Oldsmoboat has some GREAT stories from his years plowing the highways in the Sierra.

I took the day off, didn't have much to do and it wasn't worth the hassle. I would have had a hard time getting out of my street onto the main roads.
