Ill be moving to Fullerton soon ... (ill be losing my AT&T Broadband connection ) So either I have to get dsl..(no way in hell) I aint down with dialing to the service upon starting my computer (pacbell). The thing is Adelphias service is about 50bux 1.5-2 DOWN, 15KB UP. ATT provided me 1.5 DOWN, 35KB UP @ 40bux.

I dont know if thats the correct bandwidth listed for adelphia but thats what i recall the last time I called.. Does anyone have their service? how is it? please fill me in on details.. Thanks

We have it availble here, but the problem is I heard it blows.

BTW, why do you have to dial with your DSL?

you're lucky you get up at all. our adelphia has been promising us up bandwidth for oh...two years now.

btw, they rip me off for regular cable tv, too!

Can you tell me where you guys are located?

I just visited the house we are moving into .. the current residents there are connected with pacbell dsl .. they have to dial up which takes a couple seconds but just the thought of dialing, it turns me off..

So what kind of speeds should I expect to see if and when I do decide to go with Adelphia

Adelphia cable sucks ass... well I'm a little partial because I just moved back home from school where I had a 10Mb ethernet line pings are mediocre, 70's at best... download speeds are alright, the fastest I got was about 70k/s at 2am... btw I'm in Diamond Bar... I have two other friends that have it here in DB as well, and they keep complaining that it keeps blinking out... I just got home last night so I haven't had a chance to set up my box yet (I'm on my sister's) My other friend in San Dimas has Adelphia as well, and his blows just as much. I hope they get their act together soon... 80 ping sucks in cs! =P
