Who's an expert at bios settings? I need help BAD!!

I have a new computer that I put together and it locks-up in games. If I give you the list of components and all the bios options, can you tell me what settings to use?

what motherboard are you using?

Its probably your drivers anyway.

Unless you have been in there changing settings, it most likely isn't a bios problem if you have set defaults.

Give us a list anyway and include all your specs, temps, drivers installed, MB, HS, voltages ect. ect.

FIC AD-11 (yeah, I know everyone hates FIC but I was tired of waiting)
1.2G AMD 266fsb
Geforce2 Ultra Visiontek (nVida)
256Mb DDR Corsair
SoundBlaster XGamer5.1
30G HDD (IBM)
12x10x32x CD-RW (don't remember, Toshiba?)
16x DVD (Pioneer)
Win98SE

Drivers?! What are those? I have whatever drivers were on the disks with the components and Win98SE. I have not gone to anybody's website and downloaded new drivers. And yes the thing still locks up with the default settings.

Case temp around 31
CPU temp around 41 so I serously doubt it's temp related but then what do I know?

Did I leave anything else out?

I tried a guide (not the one suggested here) but it didn't do any good and didn't cover all the settings listed in the manual.

I'll bite....

Go get your latest hardware drivers. Most definately your video card drivers. Try the latest Detonator Drivers. Start with 6.50 if your not already running them. Get them from Reactor Critical.
