And I'm excited as hell! I've used them before (and mini14's even more) so it's not like I'm gonna be running around like a confused, dangerous monkey when I finally have it.

Any opinions on the 10/22 or on any mods I can get for it?

:D

A friend's giving me two 30 rd. clips :) Also, I heard that the 100 rd ones are illegal ;)

I love shooting .22s. You can still buy a brick for close to $10, and there is no recoil (not that I'm scared of kick!) to speak of.

The only thing I don't like about the 10/22 (and this also applies to Ruger's Mk.II .22 handguns) is that the clip is a pain in the ass to load. I dunno who does magazine design at Ruger, but they should be shot (no pun intended).

I love them too. Seriously, I could listen to that [p'kiew] sound all day.

Yawp...where else can you get hours of fun for $10? :)

Ha ha. I wouldn't mind just a little kick. I've fired pistols and anti-tank weapons and everything in between and I've started to like the feeling...
