I've liked all of the ST series. Didn't like TNG at first, but I really grew to like it a lot. I liked DS9 as well. Some episodes were lame, but a lot of them were quite good. :)
I saw most of the first season or two of Enterprise, took getting used to. Still see Scott B. as Quantum Leap (used to watch it a lot). Didn't even realize it was still on.......(no cable). And I too thought the Vulcan Science Officer was quite attactive. ;) Also liked Behlana (sp) far more than 7of9. I have a thing for "feisty" brunettes. ;)

I cried when they announced Enterprise was cancelled (not really, but I wanted to). It will be the first time in 25+ years there's not a Trek show or movie in the works. Enterprise has really gotten good the last 2 years, some of the best Trek I've ever seen. I was really looking forward to what they had planned to do.

I guess the new Battlestar Galactica will have to quench my sci-fi thirst for the foreseeable future, I am really enjoying that show as well. But with no Trek (and no T'Pol), it's sad, sad times :(

What, no jokes about ridgeless Klingons? They FINALLY answer the question of where the ridgeless Klingons came from and NOBODY cares? lol

I swear I had a psychic premonition aabout five minutes into that episode that it was going to answer the question about the ridges. Can't get a woman if my life depends on it, but my radar picked up on what the the episode was going to be about lol. Sheesh.

There is a series of books about the Eugenics Wars that did that, and it looks like the writers of Enterprise took a clue from that. Heck, the writer of those episodes might be the same guy that wrote the books. :p

I remember section 31 from somewhere - was that a DS9 thing or did they show up in other Trek's too?

I consider myself a fan of the series, though many probably say I'm not, as I find a lot of the original series to be rather corny, for lack of a better term. But I liked TNG, DS9, and most of Voyager. Enterprise was alright, but a lot of it seemed to be done just to boost ratings. Voyager fell prey to the same thing. My favorite argument for this is good old 7 of 9 - a former Borg obsessed with efficiency, wearing high heels.
Right.

And now of course, another full figured woman in a "cat-suit", disrobing in some episodes. I think that was a way of saying "our ratings are slipping, please watch!!!!"

I wish they'd go back and redo some of the DS9 episodes using the computer-graphics of Enterprise. I imagine that they did a little bit of it with the battle sequences with a hundred or more ships in view. Enterprise added good effects for dropping out of warp, as well as easier shielding and hull impact effects. DS9's battle sequences often lacked shielding effects, and they also resorted to stock footage a bit too often. With the computer capabilities now, it seems that you just program the computer with the flight plans of the ships, and it renders everything. No more plastic models and drawing in the weapon effects.

I'd sooner have a successor for MST3K than see Enterprise back - or else an effort to acquire rights to the movies to get the entire series on DVD.

I guess I'll have to catch the reruns of season 4. The only explanation of that I saw was in DS9, when some of the Defiant crew go back in time, to the Tribble incident. Worf simply said "We do not discuss it with outsiders."

Section 31 - that little covert operation, right? First time I remembered it was in DS9, with Director Sloan I believe.

Check out The Eugenics Wars mini-series of Star Trek books, they talk about that as well. I think the Enterprise script-writers took a hint from them. Other than the fact that the author couldn't keep his political leanings out of the book, the first one was at least decent. Haven't read the others yet.

Hey thanks for the link ,interesting story :)

That reminded me that it was because of the support by ST (paramount) on thier website of S@H which got me into it,though I had heard about S@H the previous year on BBCs Tommorrows world (I miss that program:() I'd long since forgotten about it as I didn't have my own net connection till much latter.

Damn I'm gonna miss Enterprise if its doesn't come back:(

Star Trek 10, most of seasons 1&2, etc. They haven't been allowed to write any of the season 4 episodes so far, and that's a good thing in my book.
