Whoops

When formatting I must have mised this space somehow. Lesson learned. Don't format while intoxicated. Oh well, I guess ill just have an extra mp3 drive or something.

I have 480 soemthing Gig unalocated on my file server because I expanded the array, and Server 2003 doesn't let you expand the boot partition. even MS support said so, and it was the first call I ever had to them ever. Makes me sad.

Oh well, when I run outa space I will just either reinstall so it all goes as one partition or just give it another drive letter.

<edit>
Lied, only a little over 400 gb, not 700.

Can't you use a 3rd party utility, like maybe Acronis Disk Director?
It let me do all kinds of fun things with my partitions on my RAID 5 setup when I migrated to larger drives, including the boot partition. Granted, that was with WinXP Pro....does Server 2K3 use NTFS too?
I think Disk Director has a boot CD option. Maybe you can use that to change the partition size?

Yea, there are 3rd party tools to expand the partition, but every single one I looked at warned about doing it on server 2k3. Plus, most of these tools were all > $100 and I am only going to use it once. I'll just take it down for a day, no biggie.
