The chipset is not from Intel. The performance and stability of these boards pales in comparision to Intel 440BX motherboards.

No auctions are not allowed in FS/FT.. Nothing "For sale" is allowed in this forum. Auctions are a type of "for sale" item. Thus your misleading auctions are not allowed here..

DON't BUY THESE. Even for $10 you will not be happy..

I've built systems with these to friends with p3 750mhz oem and new RAM (NOT from the age of the BX mbs).. I had 'em run winbench over 24+ hours and no crashes or hangs... so your cliam is NOT TRUE, I bet you haven't even touch one of these before, let alone TESTED one. So what the chipset is from VIA? What's one of the best and fastest athlon chipsets out there? from AMD! VIA does NOT automatically mean sh-t, and Intel isn't always the greatest. Or just look at ASUS, where I work, 8 out of 10 doesn't boot. damn gotta go work.. debate later

Those are NOT BX chipset boards. This is fraudulant advertising, potatoo.

Furthermore, the boards use the VIA Apollo Pro chipset, rife with stability and usability issues.

Lock. Not worth it, even if they were free.

EDIT - Take a look at a few of these for examples of the kinds of problems people have with this chipset.

As for VIA chipset, VIA does mean sh-t if its for Intel base cpus. You can't compare VIA to a AMD base board, because Intel doesn't make AMD chipsets dorkwod. Where's your logic? Anyways, self promoting actions for "BX mb" is very falsely advertised and disrespectful to the rules here. sukka!

I think it's not VIA chipset, it's SIS chipset, this mb = crappy pc-chips/pc-ware/amptron/no brand slot1/socket370 mb.

he's from canada,
they've to buy good and new computer stuff at higher price than us,
and they've many old junk like this need to get rid of.

try ubid instead, there are many morons willing to buy junk at higher than street price.

They've to pay higher tax, they've to pay more on good computer stuff. They've old junk to sell.
That's what I care about.

Heh, a Via BX motherboard with SiS onboard graphics. Too bad it doesn't have an ALi memory controller or something. Then you would have all 4 major chipset manufacturers represented. Oh well, 3 out of 4 aint bad!!
