I doubt it, they didn't do that in the British version did they? It would ruin the chemistry between the two. Not to mention destory the plot if they ever broke up.

The difference between the UK and US versions is that the UK version was meant as a documentary and does stop after about 2 seasons. The US version wants to keep going.

I'd be interested to see how they try to continue everything after the 2nd season ending. If they get together, if they don't get together. It seemed like the ending was more appropriate as the second to last episode, instead of as the ending of a season and then having a new season to start.

I'm betting she breaks with Roy but wants to wait a while before hooking up with Jim (i.e. season finale).

Does anyone watch Smallville anymore? I catch an episode here and there and have no idea what's going on.

Last night, Steve Carrell was on the Tonight Show and they showed a clip previewing tonight's episode. Well for a 20 minute show (10 being commercials), showing a 2 minute clip is 10%! I almost wished I didn't see it.
