I never realized how much a difference the motherboard makes in 3dmark2001se. With my old ECS POS mobo (p4 1.6a), I got around 8800 with my ti4400 at 300/600 running the 4072 dets. With my new Albatron PX845PE ProII (same processor), i got 8746 with the card at stock speeds running the 3082 dets. I know this is just a theoretical benchmark and whatnot, but this was just a test to make sure everything was running ok. I'm sure it will also be reflected in game performance.
 
my 8rda+ was a big improvment over my k7s5a. with just the new motherboard, and a little video card overclocking, i almost went up 1000 points ^_^ now to get some ddr333 to get more performance 😉
