Who'd win: Sauron vs. Yoda?

Well...
He who wrote LOTR (which is often cited as the BEST literary work ever) was an intellectual giant compared to Lucas. Therefore, Tolkiens world rules. BTW Gandalf the White (after his return from death) could not control the ring, nor attack Sauron alone. Yoda the mere mortal if talented green critter, would be fried by that Gandalf. Therefore what I said earlier still stands

but but...the only reason Sauron needs the ring is because he put his OWN power into it. When it's in the form of the ring, he can control the other rings. So it's still his own power, not a weapon.

Nope, nope...if you took everything away from them (wizards included - no staffs) and left them fight in a bare room, completely nekkid...well, after they kill Gandalf for humping someone's leg, Yoda would win.

yoda is the force, he will tell sauron to go home and rethink his life.
