Hey all.

I FINALLY got my two new systems built, and brought one to my office. I hooked it up to the T1, and all I can say is DAY-AM. I figured I would have speed comparable to the labs here, but this BLOWS THEM AWAY. I guess that's partly because they all have cheapo 10B-T NICs and I have a full duplex 10/100. Again, all I can say is WOW. 🙂🙂🙂🙂

I'm stuck on 56k here, although hopefully it won't be long before I get 512k ADSL installed. I know that's not much compared to what you have, but it's going to be a hell of a lot for me. The fastest I've ever used is 64k ISDN! ADSL will be great, I can't wait 🙂

I have had cable for a year, but now I might have to move to an area that only has dial-up. 🙁 How can I go from cable back to dial-up? It sucks.

I got cable and luckily not many people in my neighborhood seem to sign on.When I do a line speed test there is only about 200k difference between peak an off peak.Lowest I got so far is 724 highest is 972.I want more though.
