Are you sure that it was sand and it wasn't some type of drug? Perhaps the guy was trying to frame you or something? That is pretty scary though. I think I would've waited it out in the building for a while or called someone to come and escort my ass to my truck. But how could you leave your trucking running for an hour? That's crazy! Didn't you waste all that gas?

Whatever dude, It happened. Really I could care less what you guys think, but I was a bit freaked out early this morning and figured I'd post, so that someone would reassure me that I was letting my imagination get the best of me. That didn't happen, so that sucked.

Call someone??? Who? You can't exactly call the cops and say "Officer, I'm too scared to walk to my truck alone because I heard a noise upstairs and I Just saw a drunk guy in the middle of the street disappear before my eyes." THey'd think I was off my rocker!

As for leaving my truck running, as I've explained. I didn't do it on purpose, I only meant to leave it for a minute or two, but it turned into an hour after finding notes from my boss on my computer. I had compile a couple of SQL databases and put them in report form by Monday morning. I left early on Friday or I would have found the notes then. ANyway, it used maybe 1 gallon of gas at idle, I'm not worried.

Freakin crazy man. Keep us updated. Are you planning on telling your boss or anyone at your office about the incident? I imagine that might be kind of hard as they might think you've gone wack, but still - you probably want to tell someone. Damn man, get security cameras installed in that joint. If I were you, I would have my cell phone charged and in my pocket at all times with the po po on speed dial.
