eh, 3.4? We get those all the time in CA. Those don't usually knock the pieces over on your chessboard. Keep on playing. Now, I think the Northridge quake was maybe 6.9? That killed people. Big quakes will come, BIG QUAKES! Over geological time, they are in the thousands, some monstrous.
