"Caught me off guard. I would think that Sony would at least release it in DVD format just to throw people off."

The system needs to be able to read CDs to at least play old sk00L PSOne games. The game companies make the games on CD because they are much cheaper to make, Sony does not have much say in the matter. On a large scale, saving a few cents per disc burned really adds up. Some game do come on DVD that do not need to, DOA2: Hardcore is an example.

Funny how the day that Kalisto stopped ripping DC games, a group named Echelon started. I'm talking the EXACT same day. I'm seriously thinking they are the same group.

Btw, they now rip them without the boot disc being necessary. The last 30 or so have all been self-booting.

...errrrrr, so I've been told. ;)

wow really? Self booting pirated games, no mod chip. It's a wonder more people don't have a DC.

<< << It wasn't until 6 months ago Sega put out a mandate that every game has to be OVER 700 megs. >> I just got a game called Cannon Spike and it's only 200 megs. >>

Oops missed this message, I meant that Sega first party games must be over 700 megs.
