I find it funny how two bad post seasons made all Sens fans completely forget that the team
made it all the way to game 6 of the conference final a few years ago.

The Senators? They've never gotten past the 2nd round(in the modern era). The only time they got out of the first was 1998,
when Washington beat them in the 2nd.

Hmm... looks like you're right, my mistake. I always thought Ottawa beat someone
after New Jersey and before Washington.

Usually it is the Senators that can't score in the playoffs.

Philly went into a terrible slump at the end of the season, and it looks like they couldn't recover.

I like to see the Canuk teams do well! Go Sens! I am pulling for them to make it to the finals to play the Redwings. Not to beat the Wings, but at least get to the finals. Redwings Rule, all others bow to the greatest hokey team ever!!!😉

Detroit had a little scare there, but it looks like they are on their way to the second round, but only after a game 7 OT win against Van is my prediction.

Assuming Detroit gets by Vancouver they will not get by any of the other teams, all of whom are more than capable of pounding them into
oblivion.

As for Philly, they'll probably go out this summer and add more "grit".
