Well I decided to apply to a bunch of different CC companies, and see how many 0% BT offers I can round up.

Here's what I applied for:

Sony Visa ($100 statement credit + 0% BT for 1 year)
Citi Preferred Diamond Rewards Amex (10,000 TY Points + 0% BT 1 year)
Subaru Mastercard (0% BT - 1 year)
Citi Simplicity (10,000 TY Points + 0% BT 1 year)
Citi Dividend Platinum Select / Amex version (10,000 TY Points + 0% BT 1 year)
Discover Miles Card (12,000 Bonus Miles + 0% BT for LIFE)
Providian Visa Card (Free Credit Pulls)

Next up: Balance Transfers.... :)

i hope you dont have any other Citi cards, because I've heard that 3 is the max that they let you have..I've heard of playing the App-O-Rama game with different companies before the inquiries hit, but don't you think that they might have software to know that you applied for 3 cards with THEM in a very short time??

After your card has been active a few months, they let you check your FAKO score once a month at no cost.

Inquiries within a two week period (some) count as only one against your FICO, especially with the same creditor. I can't see it dropping TOO much.

Actually, I know exactly what I'm doing. Maybe you should brush up on the subject before commenting, eh?

A few of the heavy hitters make between 20k and 30k per year doing this. I'm not that brave!

Neither am I :p Too much can go wrong in that scenario. Maybe after the first run.
