I have always liked this site. It's been my news source for the last 3/4 years becuase its so easy to scroll through those pop-up menu thingies to see what the new stories are.

Shouldn't the search bar be bigger and be displayed more prominently if their plan is to make the page more stickier ?

Is it just me, or does the scroll-mouse thingy not work? That is, when you press down the scroll wheel usually a little circle comes up (in IE6) and you can move the mouse forward or back to scroll. It doesn't work on the new MSNBC for me. (It does work if you do it in the margins though.)

i don't like the new layout. i go to that page at LEAST 5 to 10 times a day too.

plus it seems to be having issues..some ads don't load, and i can't get the "menu" bar on the left to work
