been storming for a few days straight here in MI. My power almost never goes out, but when it does, its gone for a while.

Enjoy! We had that on the WI side a couple of hours ago, and I lost power for a good 35 minutes. Yes, 15 minutes longer than the UPS units keep the network running.

we just had a storm last night, one of the thunder blasts seemed so damn close, that it literally shook the house. a TON, it was crazy loud.

edit: lol, weather.com says we have a flood watch in effect until SAT may 22nd. LOL.

The last bad storm we had here a few weeks ago blew out my new and favorite power supply in my computer.

yup...got really dark here in north oakland county...lots LOTS of rain and the like. it seems to be calming down a bit now though! at least this year our lakes will not be so low
