I know... :( I put a box with some stuff in it out there......

Other than that, there isn't a lot I can do since I cannot get near it...

Live trap him & drag his ass inside. He'll get over it.

I've got almost 3 inches of snow on the ground now! I went to let the chickens out of the coop, and they ran out joyously, then ran back in, and are sulking. The calves think they're dying.

Heh... Portland is always like this when it snows. It's a very rare event. We usually get a few inches twice every couple of years. I think this is the earliest in the season that I have ever seen it snow.
The funniest thing though is the drivers. Almost none of them can drive in snow, even in slush or a half-inch dusting. Right now it's not even sticking on the pavement, but traffic on the hwy. outside my office is all backed-up. :p
You should see what happens when we actually get a couple of inches. Schools close and the whole town shuts down...

LOL...

I figured I'd get a few reactions like that.

Of course I have.. lol.. But, this is the first snow we've had this year, AND.. the first real snow I've seen in Portland in a few years, so it's exciting. ;)

I hope its a precursor to the rest of the year.. ;)

Speaking of weather...

It's 63 in NJ today. After I just bought a jacket from last weeks 30 degree wind storm.

I really wish this state would pick a climate and fast.

same with Maryland...how does anyone stay healthy in these conditions??

No doubt... I was sick for 1.5 weeks b/c of this dam weather in MD.

Another reason I hate Oregon drivers. I lived in DC for a while and we got quite a bit of snow. It would cause some traffic because people drove a little slower, but people were used to it.
Here it is like a catastrophe.

People really freak out when they see the white stuff. Highways come to a standstill.

On a side note, I don't think I've ever seen snowflakes as large as the ones that were falling this morning. It was coming down in big fluffy clumps here in Tigard - some of them were easily 2 inches across, and probably more.

Is it snowing again right now?

I hear something hitting our windows it better not be freezing rain, sleet, snow, etc.

It snowed here all day. Right now, I see a patch of blue sky, but anticipate more snow before long, probably through tomorrow.

Even if it does snow today, it will only be snow showers. It won't be the several hour event it was yesterday.

We may see more white stuff before the weekend is done though.

I could never live in the desert SW, or even California..

If I ever move, I'll be going North.
