WHOA! I just saw the most amazing thing!!!! (for eli & conjur)

I was just outside having a cig, and I saw a HUGE metor streak through the sky.. for the past 5 minutes where it streaked are red embers still floating in the air. I took a few pics, I will see if they came out or not (doubt it). The red embers are dancing in the sky bright as hell. Very very cool stuff!!

Definitely not.

Comets don't "whiz by" us like that, nor to they hit our atmosphere. If a comet hit us, it'd be like the extinction of the dinosaurs again. Comets stay in the sky for weeks at a time as they are very very far away. Meteor showers are the result of the earth passing through the debris left by a comet as it travels through the solar system.

THAT WASN'T A METEOR! IT WAS ALIENS!!!!!!!! It's the only way to explain the pictures.

Were you wearing a watch as well? If you were, see if it synchronizes to the atomic clock. If it doesn't, it was definetly aliens. You might want to check your butt for any weird devices that might pop out (a la cartman, southpark)
