Sounds interesting. I had Redhat 7.2 installed on my machine at home, but after I upgraded my cpu/mobo, i haven't bothered to reinstall it. I might give this one a shot. The disk is still partitioned for it.
"While it?s installing you can choose a log-in name and password and set-up your Ethernet, modems and printer settings. Then, Lycoris lets you play Solitaire until it?s done. A nice touch."
Hmm, I have a computer I'm not doing anything with right now, maybe I'll give it a try. Of course, the download servers are all jam packed now because of this article.
I run this on my home/ ftp server. The instalattion was very simple, and it auto detected everything I had except the onboard sound. I'm runninf this on a cheap AZZA board with a 300a celeron and 192 megs of ram. it runs fine and looks rally nice. I'll probablly end up putting 2k back on it because I don't have time to learn the ins and outs of a new os right now. I wa very impressed with the ease of use though. I am a Linux newbie and I didn't feel intimidated at all.
