I've been to a McDonalds in Yonkers NY that doesn't have BP glass, but hires an armed guard to be on the floor 24/7. It's pretty scary to walk into a fast food place and see a cop with his hand on his gun the whole time you're there.

I think I've only seen one bullet-proofed store in my life.. and that was a little offsale in a different city.

I dont know if it was even bullet proof, just looked like plexi-glass at a movie theater. probably to stop people from punching or stabbing the clerk, not to stop them from shooting him.
