I got everything I ordered a couple of weeks ago. Maglites, Kershaw Multi-tool, and a Swiss-Card. All @ 75% off. I am very pleased.
 
I got the two Columbia jackets and 1 columbia pullover I ordered
(for about 80% off). I got 4 of the 8 pairs of shoes I ordered.
I'd order more now, but a LOT of stuff is gone from the Web site.

Absolutely no New Balance shoes anymore, for example.

Fair Warning...Many complaints from customers not receiving orders and not being promptly notified of such. With "all sales final" and an "as is" policy well, youse pays youse monies youse takes youse chances. For me personally, NO WAY!

Yea, I got some nice stuff at mvp.com. I purchased the callaway iron set for like $320, a great buy. They still have some stuff left. I was wondering how you can contact them because they never answer the freakin phone!!!! I heard too many bad stuff about them and I am worried about my order. Does anyone know how to reach them???? I know they have like a separate dept for golf but they dont answer the phone and put you on hold and then they hang up on you. And when you try to call the main phone line all you get is a busy ring. Kinda shady if you ask me. So if anyone has been able to reach them please respond to this or email me at c2park@ucsd.edu. can't seem to get the additional 25% of at checkout.......

can anyone else get the additional 25% or does MVP not allow it anymore?
 
I went to the site 3 days ago. Virtually everything was half off, including the nice Prince tennis racquet and NY Yankees hat I picked out. As I added these items to my cart, the 50% sale price was visible there also. But once I started the checkout process, the prices mysteriously shot up to FULL PRICE. Went back to the individual items themselves and was startled to see that the 50% off price had disappeared from the product description pages also. The next day, ALL the tennis racquets disappeared from the site completely, then reappeared over the weekend---and of course, almost none of them were marked down. Pricing error? Bait and switch?

I saw the same thing at MVP. Rackets were there, then they weren't (but the index listed 70 types of rackets) and then they were back on Friday night. The prices really are 1/2 of everyone else before the 25% discount (which is now over).
Just in case the rackets might not exist I ordered two different styles to double my chances. I also ordered some crap on 1/16 and it is still in the "processing order" status.:frown:

Liquidating stuff, everything, not just a few items, at below cost. All sales final= Sounds like a company about to go out of business.....
 
Yeah, I'll have to agree. If you've got the patience to wait for what you've ordered go ahead and order... otherwise you'll be waiting a while for it. I ordered back prior to Christmas and I'm still waiting. At least they haven't charged my credit card yet.... which is more than I can say about some e-tailers...

 
i also heard they were going out of business but last week they offered all of 3 tennis raquets and now they have 51. if they going outta biz, why would they be increasing their inventory?

Wow! 1 Terabyte? Isn't that like having ten 100gb hard drives? Where do you find drives that size and how do you fit them in your case? And that must have cost a fortune!

Those coupons (SHAPEMAG & MVP83TZP) are dead, my friend.

As for increasing their inventory, they are simply adding the planetoutdoors inventory that came from the merger. That happend dec 31, so its just taken a few weeks to get it merged into MVP. Everything is being sold below cost; that's a desperate effort to raise cash to stay afloat. A short term gamble to buy time to find more VC.

BTW, I was searching for working coupons on mycoupons, and someone there reports that an MVP CSR said they are having "union problems" with their warehouse people and that orders may not ship for 2-3 weeks. LOL. This company is in its death throws. Union problems? Sounds more like "you haven't paid us" problems.
