Sorry if a repost from back then but I didn't find a thread on it.

It has a list of various traits and then who would vote for or against a person with such a trait. Traits included Catholic, black, Jewish, homosexual, atheist, etc.

It shows an awful lot of people having a problem with a thrice-married person as president. Seems like we'll probably be seeing some real hits coming at that target if the race proves too close in the coming weeks.

Another interesting but unsurprising tidbit, people would rather a gay president than an atheist. Hm. But what about a gay atheist?

Pathetic isn't it how the american people still believe that a person (atheist) can't be a good and moral person without the threat of an eternity of indescribable torment hanging over his head.

I wouldn't vote for anyone who I perceive as a rightwing authoritarian. That includes all current republicans with the exception of ron paul. And he's just another one of those gun-worshipping tax cheats.

BTW, I wonder how much the repukes are paying oprah and obama to screw hillary?

I think age is a factor for me but varies from individual to individual.

I tend to overlook it in McCain's case because his mother is almost 100 and could probably kick my ass :p

beyond that, my vote is typically based on policies, platform, and that indefinable quality over whether or not I think the person would make a good president.

Too bad they didn't ask about Agnostics, who IMO, make more sense than Atheists.

Nah, people like their politicians to be certain, even if wrong. I don't really care much, it was just that this will help bumb another RP thread off the front page.
