I'd go for the alien. There all you have is simple animal cunning. By all accounts the queens are the ones you have to worry about. The drones are pretty much dumb as bricks, though extremely clever.

If it was a one on one, and you had any weapon you wanted (other than a nuke, or some other crazy shiznit like that), who would you rather fight?

I say predator - they have a warrior sense of honor, and it's not as scary as an alien.

I'd take a predator... if arnold can outsmart one I think I stand a chance.

On the other hand, the alien is simply badass and has vicious killer/hunting instincts to the point where no matter how smart you were unless you could depend on severely suprior technology you were done for.

All I know is that playing AvP, they both have you shaking in your boots...that said, if there was only ONE alien, it would probably be easier to kill than one predator. Just shotgun or machine gun it.
