Some of you geeks forget that Spider-man (Peter Parker) is a genius. He'd outwit Batman any day...and kick the living tar out of him.

I'm giving it up to spider man on this way, he's a pumped up human with spider skills! Batman is just a slick tough guy with a belt. Both most excellent in their own right, no doubt. But in a showdown, Spiderman!

Spiderman would win. Unless, of course, Batman has some Spider Repellant Bat-Spray on him. Then, of course, he'd win.

batman has beat SUPERMAN in a fight; who definately has more speed and strength than spiderman; why couldnt bats beat spider....

anyways batmans is not just a "good fighter" hes the best...he is also willing to do what needs to be done to win the fight; read the gritty comic books not the happy cartoon :)

Batman is like super ninja dude as well.. I think he could take Spidey with or without belts... Just look at all the people that Bats took out... I think he could handle himself just fine:)

Batman could've beaten JESUS in a fight before, and it'll have no pertinence to this particular nerdy hypotheticality :D

Batman and Spiderman are both EXCEPTIONALLY smart. Batman has the money by himself to build gadgets and what not, and Spidey has the help of MANY rich superheroes/superhero groups behind him, like the Fantastic Four, to front him money to build gadgets. Batman is a better fighter than Spidey, but Spidey is stronger, faster, and FAR more agile. Batman is stealthier, but the Spider-Sense nullifies stealth attempt by alerting him before the "trap" is sprung. Spider-man is no slouch stealth-wise, either.

Both have faced incredible odds, beaten ridiculous people, and fought best with the best. Both will do whatever it takes to win. But physically, Spiderman CANNOT BE DEFEATED by Batman. Not in a fight. Not anywhere. Not in Gotham. Not in NY. Not in Taiwan. Not in ATOT. Never. EVAR.

Maybe if Batman and Spidey were in a detective contest...

I'm not impressed by the fact that Batman supposedly beat Spawn and Superman. The fact that they allowed either of those storylines is ridiculous. Spawn and Superman can tear Batman up with their big toe only. Superhuman strength + agility (Spiderman) > Rich, strong guy w/ gadgets (Batman).
Now when I say 'nuff said I don't want to hear any more arguments about it. Ready?
