<< BRUCE LEE!!

Oh, wait....

I think Batman would kick Superman if SM was minus his power. If Superman was like he always is, then Batman wouldn't even stand a chance. Not even close. Russ has it right - Superman IS the super hero.

But hand to hand, minus all gadgets and powers... I dunno. Maybe Batman.

You retards... Superman without his powers is an average joe. That's like "Batman vs. The Store Clerk!" and the same with Batman without his skills and gadgets. It HAS to be Bathman with all his skills and gadgets against Stuperman with all his skills and abilities.

Hmm... A Marine with full gear against a fuzzy little rabbit. Hmmm.....

superman is one jacked mofo...I mean seriously just look at him...

And yeah lirion, I suspected as much...thank you for gracing my thread with your presence...

I think superman would still win cause he has some cool gadgets as well back at the fortress where he has all those weird animals.

in a straight fight with no gadgets, i don't see how you could even put them in the same arena. bruce wayne has skill, agility, resourcefulness. clark kent doesn't have crap, without his brute strength and invulnerability he doesn't have anything that makes him unique.

if it was straight batman vs. super, i'd have to say superman has a slight edge if he hit quick and finished the job. he's faster than a speeding bullet, he could rip batman into 5 different pieces before he blinked. but if he gave him time to prepare it'd be over. with all his resources, batman could easily obtain kryptonite, hell he could get enough to make entire new suite out of it i bet.

doesn't batman kill superman in one of the comics?

Not exactly. Batman kicks his ass pretty good, but he cheats.

I want you to remember, Clark . . . in all the years to come . . . in your most private moments . . . I want you to remember . . . my hand . . . at your throat . . . I want you . . . to remember . . . the one man who beat you.

Frank Miller, The Dark Knight Returns

Can you give any more information on this? Why did Bruce attempt to destroy Superman?

Can you give any more information on this? Why did Bruce attempt to destroy Superman?

Long story . . . you'd be better off buying the comic yourself. But I'll try to sum it up.

Batman comes out of retirement at age 45 and meets up with his old familiar foes . . . Two Face, Catwoman, The Joker, etc.

The Joker is released from Arkham, claiming to be rehabilitated. He goes on the David Letterman show and kills everyone in the audience with nerve gas. Chase ensues, etc., etc., Batman fights him. The Joker is nearly crippled, Batman almost steps over the edge and kills him, but he doesn't. Joker kills himself, and the police think that Batman did it. He was already wanted (Gordon is no longer Commissioner, and the new Commissioner wants nothing to do with Batman). Superman is working for the government, and he is assigned to bring Batman in. They have a showdown on the spot where Wayne's parents were killed.

I totally butchered the story . . . like I said, you ought to pick it up.

Wow, sounds really good. I'll definitely have to pick that up. But is it a comic or a novel? And is it part of the DC universe? A lot of things don't seem to coincide with the comics...

As far as I know, in the comics, batman was able to take on superman and the x-men. Not both at once, mind you.

I don't ever remember Batman vs. the X-men, since they are two seperate comic universes, DC and Marvel, unless at some point during amalgam they met, but I don't think so. As far as if they meet, I'd give Batman the benefit of the doubt in one on one fight against Gambit, Jean Grey, and Cyclops if he got lucky. However Wolverine would wipe thew floor with him and I mean Batkobobs.

And as far as Dark Knight Returns, just before Batman wins he suffers a heart attack or something (heard from a friend) haha, ruined it for ya.

wtf batman spent 7 years of his life becoming the best at everything he could... besides ever see superman use karate?!?!!?!?

SPOLIER:
No, it was faked..........As you see in DK2 (which issue 2 is out tomorrow I believe)

Batman wins all the way. Superman, even with his supreme memory (supposed- got this direct from the comics) is a dumb boob.

How can anyone so gifted EVER lose or even get HIT?
Gee, I move faster than a speeding bullet, yet I have difficulty avoiding punches............
I am super sprong, and can push asteroids, yet have trouble with freeways (this is more from the cartoon)
I have a supreme memory, however memory != intelligence

Superman is a cool hero.........just because..........but overall, he has great character, but him as a character is NOT great

There was one Batman-Superman episode where Batman was struggling with some huge spider-robot for like 5 minutes. Then Superman shows up and just stands on it and it's dead.

Superman, no contest

In the new series called Justice League which features both of them(actually some more super heroes), Batman always hauls everyones a$$ out of trouble all the time. And hes the only human without any superpowers.

Batman has much more imagination and is much brighter than Superman. I think Superman would win on brute strength of course, but Batman would out smart him.

Sal

amen to that sal....
batman is really human without any super powers... so when all of the super villans show up with gadgets that are meant to hurt the ones with superpowers.... batman would be immune... and hes got the money to back it up... kinda like iron man.... ur average joe with tons of money for cool toys...

of course that jsut my opinion
