Grizzly > Polar, although it's pretty much a moot point...both would beat a Lion or Tiger.Originally posted by: jdoggg12
Bear. Hands down, polar bears are pretty much the fiercest bears alive, as well as the biggest.

Saying a polar bear would win because it's bigger and stronger is like saying a saint bernard could whoop a pitbull...
The bear wouldn't even know what hit it.
Lions beat tigers more often than not. (Male lions)
Bears beat them all.
The Grizzly is the ultimate land animal, as far as fighting goes.

Polar Bear would own a tiger. Biggest Siberian can hit 300kg while Polar Bear starts at 300 and goes up to 600kg. I don't think there are too many 600kg ones left because of the melting icecap. They are literally starving...
Polar bears dont eat ice. They can swim hundreds of miles without issue.

Kelvrick, I think he meant that since Polar Bears obviously eat meat, they can swim up to hundreds of miles looking for prey. Thus even those the icecaps are melting to cause more water to swim through, it shouldn't be an issue on why they might be starving.

Wrong... Polar > Grizz
A grizz is a dwarf compared to a polar bear. Usually around half the size. The only bear that compares to a Polar Bear in size is the Kodiak which is an offshoot of the grizz family and is only found on Kodiak Island in Alaska. Now those guys are BIG (bigger than the Polars). But a standard Grizz would get wtfpwned by a Polar Bear.
