Bear. Hands down, polar bears are pretty much the fiercest bears alive, as well as the biggest.
Grizzly > Polar, although it's pretty much a moot point...both would beat a Lion or Tiger.

And why are we talking Tigers? Lions beat tigers.

The bear wouldn't even know what hit it.
Wrong. Grizzly > Polar bear > Lion > Tiger

Lions beat tigers more often than not. (Male lions)

Bears beat them all.

The Grizzly is the ultimate land animal, as far as fighting goes.

Wrong... Polar > Grizz

A grizz is a dwarf compared to a polar bear. Usually around half the size. The only bear that compares to a Polar Bear in size is the Kodiak which is an offshoot of the grizz family and is only found on Kodiak Island in Alaska. Now those guys are BIG (bigger than the Polars). But a standard Grizz would get wtfpwned by a Polar Bear.

Tigers are ambush predators while Polar bears actively hunt for food.

In human terms (to the best of my ability), the Tiger is like an opportunistic sniper while the Polar bear is a seasoned close combat specialist. The Tiger relies on quick and powerful surprise attacks while the Polar bear relies on brute sheer force.

So a Tiger facing a Polar bear is basically putting the opportunistic attacker versus one giant close combat specialist. It's no contest.

Polar Bear would own a tiger. Biggest Siberian can hit 300kg while Polar Bear starts at 300 and goes up to 600kg. I don't think there are too many 600kg ones left because of the melting icecap. They are literally starving...

Polar bears dont eat ice. They can swim hundreds of miles without issue.

Wtf? You think he considers bears ice-eaters?

Kelvrick, I think he meant that since Polar Bears obviously eat meat, they can swim up to hundreds of miles looking for prey. Thus even those the icecaps are melting to cause more water to swim through, it shouldn't be an issue on why they might be starving.

Ok, then.

A boat can go hundreds of miles on a full tank, but keep adding a mile here and there that it has to go, and it'll run out sooner or later. All I know is from discovery channel, but they already seem to be swimming further and further in search of food.

Just an FYI, Grizzly Bears and Kodiak Bears are both subspecies of Brown Bears; the Kodiak is not an offshoot of the Grizzly.

After seeing a Polar bear get mauled by a walrus on the Planet Earth videos, i think that's where i saw it, I'd say it would be an even match.

I would agree with this simply because of size, strength, and thickness of skin/fur. Nobody fvcks with the grizzly.

If I had a "bear gun" and a kodiak charged me, I'd blown my brains out. Those things are rediculous.

Get one lined up. I'll bring the bear. We'll see then.

no ice, no easy seal catch... that is why

Polar bear has no hope of catching a seal while they are both swimming.

Seals can probably taunt polar bears by poking the bear with their noses and swim away.

polar bear and luckily these 2 don't share the same areas, there are only around 2000 tigers left in the wild

are you suggesting polar bears and tigers migrate? :Q

Not at all. They could be carried. 😛
