Who would be a good choice for the next James Bond?

I keep seeing all these previews for the movie Beyond Borders and remember seeing the guy who plays the lead in that (Clive Owen - not a very good picture of him on the first page) in a few other movies (most notably the Bourne Identity, Gosford Park, and obviously BMWfilms) and thought he might have good Bond potential.

Who else out there would be a good Bond candidate once Brosnan steps down? I'm obviously not as familiar with a lot of the British actors to choose from.

Yeah, he does have more of a Timothy Dalton quality that they'd have to smooth over in order for it to have a chance to work.

You're joking correct? That guy is more of a "Jaws" than a Bond. Though the futbol player.. Andrew Beckham (is it?) well he looks pretty handsome and maybe dying his hair will suit him for the role.

As of yet I really can't think of a good actor besides Brosnan.
