Nice to see the chiefs looking good. Not that they're super bowl bound, but they are playing a nice game.

Why did Jest bother playing anyway? They are destined for Super Bowl, regardless of regular season record. Their coach said so. They look so tough on HBO Hard Knocks. Darelle Revis can cover 5WR the same time. Mark Sanchez was amazing at USC, and we all know USC quarterbacks make the finest NFL quarterbacks. Rex Ryan is multiple SuperBowl winning coach and first ballot Hall of Famer. Might as well crown them Superbowl XLV champions and get this over with.

Leon

they are so humble too, these quiet gentlemen should be in the Superbowl just for that. :sneaky:

Gotta give the Chiefs D credit for tonight's game. Yeah, Rivers made a couple bad throws, but the Chiefs had soo many great stops throughout the entire game. Essentially, special teams and D won the game. Pass offense was just embarrassing. I can't believe Cassel is getting 63 million.

Oh, its not Cassel's fault, its the offensive line. They cant stop a wet paper sack.

So....

The Jets....

They are supposed to be one of the biggest contenders to the AFC East?

I knew Sanchez was mediocre, but his performance was worse than that of a rookie.

Wow, chargers lost. Even more wow, chefs lead the divison at 1-0.

So mr. Schmuck GM, how's that V.Jackson thing doing for you.

Or the Niners. holy shit they sucked balls

It really should be the 49's vs Jets. Cowboys played this inconsistent last year too with awful play calling and what now appears to be an over rated passing game. The NFC east was always inconsistent, so nothing surprising for me.

Sure Jets lost by only one point, but it was an insurmountable one point. Next week they are going up against an offense that will keep the Jets offense less time on the field.

@KT and IndyColtsFan. Guess that means all of our teams are 0 - 1 atm? hrmmm? 😛

I commend the Chiefs for playing a great defensive game. The Bolts have no excuses. They blew it, plain and simple.

Woohoo! May be the only win the Chiefs get all season, but it was worth it watching Rivers cry like a baby.

Did you forget Oakland and Denver are in the AFC West? Plus they play Cleveland, Arizona, Buffalo, and St. Louis.

Oh, its not Cassel's fault, its the offensive line. They cant stop a wet paper sack.

Plus the play calling is still suspect. I don't know why they keep forcing Thomas Jones when its clear Charles is the better running back for the offense. They tried the same thing last year with Larry Johnson, and while TJ is much better, its still just plain not working. Even with Charles in there they still run some awful plays a lot. Their o-line definitely still needs some work though. Between it and the play calling (oh and Bowe still dropping passes), its hard to judge Cassel (although its fair to say he's not more than a middling QB so far).

Their defense still needs to do something about big plays, but I'm not sure we'll see both Brandon Flowers and Eric Berry blow coverage like they did on that big pass last night.

KC was conservative because of the rain. But if they don't open up the playbook for cassel its going to be a long season. They can't count on their defense and special teams all season.

Looks like Sanchez will join the long list of failed USC quarterbacks in the NFL.

All I can say is...wow...

They hyped that team in the off season too....

I did not expect them to fail living up to the hype that badly.

That final drive was just painful to watch.

Haha, yep. Sucks to be us. I actually thought the Chargers would tie it at the end there.

So who of us gets the win next week, all teams at home:

Dolphins @ Vikings
Jags @ Chargers
Giants @ Colts

:hmm:

Hmm....

Lets see if the Mannings will make it a good game.

Maybe Eli will finally prove that he is better than big brother....yeah right.

They might all get wins but I'll pick the Chargers as a shoe in.
I'm picking Eli over Peyton IndyColtsFan! That run D is horrible.
