One thing that ticks me off about them Saints is how they approach games. They can beat the cream of the crop (Tampa Bay and Green Bay), but they crumble against crapass teams like Detroit and Cleveland (they aren't total crap, maybe average crap)...

Raiders beat Tennessee in AFC.
Saints beat 'Bucs in NFC
Gannon and Rice and Brown are on a mission.
Raiders 27-16 over the Saints.

Red pretty much hit the nail on the head with the state of the NFL. It's getting so mediocre it's just sad. Just look at the '91 Redskins...they had the number 1 offense, top 5 defense, top kicker, top kickoff returner, top punter. Likewise any of the teams before the salary cap and free agency took full affect would crush any of the "champs" since then.

That said, no love for ATL?

I'd like to see Atlanta win... I think Vick would be pretty entertaining to watch when he knows he's on international TV.
Or someone will snap his legs in 1/2.
Either way it should be a good time. 😀

Hopefully Tamba Bay plays Atlanta in the playoffs. If so, the Saints have the best shot at the NFC championship...

Don't the Jaguars still have a shot to make the playoffs? Near impossible, but I think they can. My pick is Philly though.

I picked Philly. The have lost their starting and backup Qb's, but are rolling right along with a stout defense and a rehabbed Deuce Staley. Once Donovan gets back, they will be damn tough to beat.

Why so many votes for Oakland? They're a good team but they have been run on lately.

I think too many people have overlooked the Eagles, their offense is still performing wonderfuly without the leadership of McNabb and their defense is still playing tough. I don't see why they couldn't take it all the way this year, especially given their divisional performance.

Tampa Bay always chokes in the playoffs. There's no reason to think otherwise this year.

I think Green Bay will represent the NFC.
