I don't see what's so impressive about the Colts. Yeah, Manning is on fire, but their defense was no better than KC's. We all know Defense wins Championships. Therefore, everyone saying Colts, better luck next year.

Not when your QB has a rating of 150+ in the playoffs...Defense is important, but if your offense can go 2 consecutive playoff games, without punting, it doesn't seem to make much difference 🙂

It will make a difference next week when Indy isn't able to score on every possession. This is the Patriot defense that has led them to 13 straight wins, including a 38-34 victory over the Colts in Week 12. Thank you.

38-34 win doesn't really testify to a strong D. 🙂

the colts are as hot as i've ever seen a team (on the offensive end).

If you saw the end of that game, you'd change your tune. Colts @ home, end of the game, Colts driving for the win, 1st and goal on the 1 yard line, and they had 4 tries to score a touchdown and were held. That sounds like a damn good defense to me.

your team gave up THIRTY FOUR points.

that doesn't testify to the strength of your D nearly as much as it does to the weakness of th Colts D.

Considering we had 10 starters out, I think that says wonders about our 'D', as well as the offense being able to put up 38 points. The 'D' won the game with four straight goal-line stands. That speaks for itself.
Now that we are just about 100% healthy for the first time all season, the Colts have a snowballs chance in hell of walking out of Gillette Stadium with a W.

i seem to remember you making some certain guarantees regarding the Boston Red Sox. hmmmmm.

i'll take your guarantee with a grain of salt and heed my own counsel.

And considering we were DESTROYING the Colts until Brady gave up two INTs within one minute, both within the Pats 35 yard line.

Those were hopes, not guarantees. This on the other hand, is a definate lock. The Manning Bandwagon crashes next Sunday in Foxboro, Massachusetts.

lol, exactly. ^5 Ken. :beer::beer::beer:

doubt the eagles will win next week, manning is a machine and the pats are pretty strong....panthers might surprise though

Panthers. I have the same type of feeling about them that I did about the Patriots the year they won the Super Bowl. Not really the logical choice but I'm going with my gut again.

There isn't a serious argument against it.
How about the argument that you haven't won anything until the game is played...

A "definate[sic] lock?" Gimme a break. The line is NE -3.5 ... that hardly sounds like a lock.

When you learn a thing or two about the lines and what play they're going for, then you'll realize that they're reeling in the suckers that are on the Manning Wagon, luring them into that low line, trapping their money. It's too easy for the bookmakers to do, just take a look at all of the bandwaggoners of Indy that are all of a sudden coming out of their shells just on this board. That's why the bookies do what they do. They're not out to lose a buck.

Iggles all the way. The NFC Superbowl road runs through Philly and only Iggles have EZ-Pass. McNabb is unstoppable, if it's Colts, take all men off the field (including Offensive line, well maybe two to block Freeney) except McNabb and Philly will win. If it's Pats, they'll need all players but will still shred that d!

As long as it isn't a dome team I'll be happy.

I was glad to see St. Louis knocked out of the playoffs....hopefully the Patriots will knock the Colts out.

Unless Manning breaks his throwing arm I don't see the Colts being stopped. Will be cheering for the Panthers though

The Colts certainly look very hard to beat right now, but it seems incomprehensible for the Pats to lose. As a Pats fan, I seriously have forgotten the feeling of them losing. 😕

Patriots without a doubt. I'll bet my car against anyone elses (of same or higher personal value, I decide) 🙂 That the pats will win 🙂

We have a passing game that's as good, a running game that's pretty much the same except we have 2 go-to guys, and we have the DE-FENCE that the colts could only dream about. They'll be lucky to get stuffed on the 1 yard line this game, we'll stuff them biatches closer to their own 5 😀...over and over again

Exactly!
I made this comment to my buddy the other day....

I don't know if it'll be this year, next year,or in 2k7, but I am seriously worried about what my mental state will be when the pats finally lose a game. I think my body will reject it like a goat kidney...i'll probably pass out from the shock.
