They just beat the two so called "unbeatable" teams and went through Philly like water.

Who is going to put a stop to this team? Besides one of the stars getting hurt, I think these guys have a huge chance of going to the Superbowl.

Who thinks otherwise?

Besides being hurt?

The steelers have several people out.

CB Chad Scott (Quadricep)

ILB Kendrell Bell (Sports Hernia) [Played like 10 minutes.]

OLB Clark Haggans (Foot)

WR Lee Mays (Toe)

RB Duce Staley (Knee)

Didn't need those players to man handle the Eagles now did they? They've still got a relatively tough schedule, teams like the Jets and the Giants, even a game @ Buffalo, who just beat the Jets @ Buffalo... Then they also play Cleveland and Cinci who usually play tough against the Steelers when they have homefield advantage... you never know in the NFL but the Steelers are hands down the hottest team at this point in the season...

That was my point.. Steelers hopefully just get more healthy over time.

They look very strong.

i think they might get upset next sunday. the browns are better then their record, and the steelers now have a big target on their backs (just like philly and the pats when they were undefeated).

As good as the Steelers have looked, this league is full of parody... and anything can happen any given sunday. They could struggle against Browns Ravens or Bengals (division games) but I think the Jaguars game is a game outside the division that they might lose.

THe Jags? You do know they are the only team with a winning record to have allowed more points this season than they have scored, right?

No, of the non division teams I think the Giants or even Buffalo have the best chance. Perhaps the Jets but they play the Jets in Pittsburg so I dunno. You never know.

Of all the teams they have to go I think maybe the game @ Browns or the game @ Giants are games the Steelers have the biggest shot to lose. With their terribile offense, the Ravens would need huge help from defense and special teams, Cinci's terrible defence would need to pull a miracle like they did against the Cowboys (5-0 in turnovers yet won "only" 26-3 while the Steelers lost the turnover battle 1-2 to Philly and won 27-3...)

Again its too hard to call because even though the Steelers outclass the rest of the teams on the schedule (in terms of stats and impressions from watching the game), parity is indeed at an all time high in the NFL and any team pretty much has a legit shot to win any game on their schedule

Have to say the Steelers look good.

BUT:

Vs the Pats, half the pat's starters were out (#1,2 CBs, #1 WR, #1 RB, RT/LT both got injured during the game). I'm not making excuses because you play with what you got, and the Steelers beat them that day, but give me a rematch and I think they can be beaten.

Also the last two games were at Home right? Come to the Razor in January, and we'll see what happens.

That all said,

Steelers sure look great. Ben is a stud, and it's amazing how going from Maddox to him makes such a big difference, and their 2 WRs and nasty (I HATE Burress, but LOVE Ward--what a hard nose player).

Parody, huh? I'd re-think that one...

The Steelers had starters out - their Pro Bowl nose tackle, Casey Hampton (gone for the season), offensive lineman Kendall Simmons (lost for season), their best cornerback Chad Scott, linebacker Kendrell Bell - one of their most aggressive linebackers, and last weekend Tommy Maddox was still their starting QB. That makes 5 starters out for the Steelers that I can think of.

both got injured during the game

I guess the Steelers had nothing to do with injuring the players either or is all the talk about physical dominance all uncalled for?
