I don't doubt that this is among one of the more worthless threads that has ever graced the pages of Anandtech but here's the story.
I was writing a message in my thread and I wanted to put an emotion icon in it. I'm fairly new here so I had to read each one as I went through them. I wasn't exactly sure what I was looking for but I knew that as soon as I saw it, I'd know to use it.
In the end, I settled for the "Sad" icon
() but soon realized that that's not how I felt at all.
What I really was looking for was an icon in the middle of a bunch of the existing ones--something not completely sad, not completely happy, just "Wistful."
What would it look like you ask?
Well, it wouldn't absolutely have a smile or frown. When you're wistful, you're sad that the past is behind you but happy when reminiscing about the times you've had. It's eyes would be half-closed or at least not totally focused on what's in front of it. It would be the emotion icon to go with *sigh* and for a human comparison, look at Nelly Furtado on her one and only album cover.
Wow.
