Who was your favorite first lady?

Mine was Abigail Adams. Her husband conversed with her frequently via letters, especially during the revolutionary period. She was well educated and John depended on her for advice on many of the key issues in founding our country. She was also one of the early inspirations for women's rights, and was dead set against slavery.

Of the 4 that have been while I've been alive, I'd say none of them. Beyond that, we've got a few. I think certainly Eleanor Roosevelt and Jackie O would be up there.

Never really thought about it, but one of the few things the town I live in is know for is being the birthplace of Pat Nixon.

I'm sure I'll be flamed up the Wazoo for this, but I think Hillary Clinton was, and still is, a Hottie.
(Same goes for Laura Bush, but on more of a "Housewifey" type appeal, making her #2 in my book.)
She's also quite intelligent, though I'm not sure I would want her as president.

And HEY! Cut me some slack here guys, I'm 50 years old, these are younger chicks to me!
