Who was worse - Hitler or Stalin?

Both were tremendously evil, and Hitler did manage a new level of sadism, but ultimately Stalin killed more, so he gets my nod as the most evil.

Stalin was worse in that he substained his rule. Hitler was a madman who burned out. Stalin managed to start a baby dark ages for the east, as well as fueling the continued existance of Marxism. It's also curious what would be of Islamic fundamentalism if Stalin hadn't succedded.

Patton was right.

hitler followed stalin's example in most of the 'evil acts' such as show trials and scapegoating... so stalin i voted.

If Hitler wasn't such a murderous thug, he could have just walked into all of wester USSR as a liberator. But then again if my aunt had b@lls she'd be my uncle.

Stalin by far, then again I'm a bit biased as he sent a few of my family members to Siberia...

Stalin was worse. Hitler actually brought his country some level of prosperity (albeit in a very very twisted fashion and only temporarily).

That is a tough call. Alot of people suffered and died because of Stalin, which also spawned Communism in other countries which led to even more people dieing.

Hitler was pure evil, but he was also stupid. Hitler caused the deaths of many, and spawned the neo-nazi movement, which made normal people completly stupid.

Mayo tsu tung(sp) , starved his own people while trying to prove that his new food distribution plan would work.

That leader from Uganda, forgot his name, killed his own people. forced Asian shop keepers out of his country and gave the businesses to Ugandanise people. When the shelves ran out of food the new owners didn't know how to get more. That guy was pretty stupid.

FDR was stupid for not implementing his "new deal" sooner. His idea was to let everything work it's way out. The people of that time were also stupid for electing him to office 4 times. Calvin Coolidge was also stupid for not catching the warning signs that something was wrong with the economy. At least they didn't kill anyone (that I know of)

Usama is stupid for thinking that he could pull a stunt and get away with it. He should have learned a lesson from the Japanese in ww2. "lets attack the U.S., those people are soft and don't have the stomache for war"

Before the US invaded Afganistan Usama said "We fought off the Russians when they invaded, so we can defeat the Americans. In my opinion the Russian army is stronger than the Americans anyway"

heh, sorry for going on and on. The percaset is kicking in
